NUK comes from Germany and its baby products are sold in over 90 countries worldwide. It specializes in baby feeding systems or equipment and also some nursing aid products for the mothers.

In Malaysia, you will find a good range of NUK products available in department stores like Isetan, Metrojaya, Jusco and maybe even Robinsons. I am not 100% certain about the latter as I thought I saw those products there but you can definitely find NUK products in those other department stores. You will also find that Guardian Pharmacy outlets carry a smaller range of these products, specifically the bottles, teats and soothers (or pacifiers).

About NUK feeding bottles

NUK offers 2 types of feeding bottles, plastic and glass. The glass bottles are environmentally friendly and bis-phenol A free. Its range of plastic bottles does not claim to be free of bis-phenol A. It only states that its plastic feeding bottles are made of either polypropylene or polycarbonate, of which the latter is based on the starting material bis-phenol A.

NUK however claims that they are convinced on the safety of the materials used to manufacture its products.

NUK feeding bottles come in 2 different types and in various sizes for each type. You can choose the classic feeding bottles or the wide neck bottles which they call NUK First Choice or premium selection.

Washing Instructions

Before using the diaper set

• Wash the diaper and insert several times before use to increase their absorbency

Washing soiled diaper set

• Knock solids into toilet
• Remove the insert from the diaper
• Rinse and put in the diaper pail. NO soaking is necessary
• Fasten the hook and loop tabs to the laundry tab on the inside of the diaper to ensure durability
• Wash your diaper up to 60 degrees celcius in normal wash cycle with no more than 1/4 to 1/2 of the detergent's recommended amount per load. Too much detergent can cause residue to build up.
• Add an extra rinse cycle to remove any lingering detergent in the diaper
• Tumble dry or line dry

Some DO NOTS to remember:

• Do not use fabric softener as it leaves a residue and decreases the absorbency of the diaper
• Do not use bleach or other harsh stain removers, as they will shorten the lifespan of your diaper. Drying diaper in the sun is the most effective way to remove stains.
• Do not use barrier cream / nappy cream as they coat the fibres in your diaper reducing their absorbency. When using a barrier cream you must always use a liner
